Small Habits.
Cleaner India.
Bigger Future.
โ From Amity University, to the nation.
A group of Engineering (ASET) students at Amity University Madhya Pradesh built this platform with one belief: that every Indian who changes one habit changes the country. This is our contribution to PM Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission. Join us.

All numbers are real-time from our community. No fake data โ every number represents a real person's action.
Eco Impact Tracker
Every action counts. Log your eco activities, earn points, and watch your impact grow.
Start Your Eco Journey
Sign in to track your eco actions, earn points, and become an Eco Hero.
Today's Challenges
Small daily actions that add up to massive change. Complete challenges to earn points.
Refuse a Plastic Bag Today
Say no to plastic bags when shopping. Carry your own cloth bag instead.
โThe average plastic bag is used for just 12 minutes but survives up to 1,000 years in our environment.โ
Use a Reusable Water Bottle All Day
Avoid buying single-use plastic bottles. Refill your own bottle throughout the day.
โIndians discard approximately 25,000 plastic bottles every single minute. Your one bottle matters.โ
Use Public Transport for One Trip
Take a bus, metro, or train instead of driving or booking a cab.
โOne bus replaces 40 individual car trips. That is 40x less congestion and 40x less pollution.โ
Spend 10 Minutes Cleaning Your Street
Step outside and spend just 10 minutes picking up litter near your home.
โBroken Window Theory: clean spaces stay clean. When you clean your street, others are nudged to keep it that way.โ
Share This Website with 3 People

โAwareness is the first step to every movement. Social proof drives collective action.โ
Segregate Your Household Waste
Separate wet waste, dry waste, and recyclables at home today.
โOnly 43% of India's waste is collected. Segregation at source is the foundation of effective waste management.โ
Walk for a Trip Under 1 km
Choose walking over driving or riding for any trip under 1 kilometer.
โShort car trips under 1 km are the most polluting per kilometer. Walking eliminates this entirely.โ
Tell One Person About Swachh Bharat
Have a conversation with someone about the Swachh Bharat Mission and its impact.
โIdentity-based habits: when you talk about sustainability, you reinforce your own eco-identity.โ
Take the Pledge
โI, as a citizen of this great nation, pledge to keep my surroundings clean, to refuse what I do not need, to share what I have, to plant what I can, and to inspire everyone I know to do the same. I am not just a person โ I am part of a movement. I am Swachh Bharat.โ

Why This Works
The technology and engineering behind sustainable change โ understanding how innovative solutions build a cleaner India.
Nudge Theory & SBM
โA clean street nudges you to keep it clean. A dirty street nudges you to litter.โ
The Broken Window Theory, applied to Indian streets, shows that visible cleanliness creates a powerful nudge for others to maintain it. When one person cleans their neighborhood, the social environment shifts โ everyone becomes more careful with their waste.
Swachh Bharat Mission leveraged this at scale: painting walls, installing dustbins, and declaring villages ODF created visible nudges that changed community behavior permanently.
Social Proof
โWe don't just copy behavior โ we adopt the behavior of people we identify with.โ
When you see your neighbor segregating waste, you're 73% more likely to start doing it yourself. This is social proof โ the psychological tendency to follow what others around us do.
Our platform uses this by showing real-time community actions, making eco behavior visible and normal rather than exceptional.
Identity-Based Habits
โSaying 'I am an Eco Hero' is more powerful than saying 'I'll try to be eco-friendly.'โ
James Clear's research shows that behavior change rooted in identity (who you are) is far more durable than change rooted in outcomes (what you want). Our avatar system transforms eco-actions from tasks into identity markers.
When you earn the title 'Green Guardian,' you don't just do eco actions โ you become someone who naturally makes eco choices.
Loss Aversion in Sustainability
โWe feel the pain of losing โน100 twice as strongly as the joy of gaining โน100.โ
Framing pollution as something we're actively losing โ clean air, clean water, healthy years โ creates stronger motivation than framing cleanliness as something we might gain.
India loses โน6.4 lakh crore annually to poor sanitation. When people understand what they're losing, action becomes urgent, not optional.
The Ride-Sharing Psychology
โIn India, we share meals, we share festivals โ why not share rides?โ
PM Modi's ride-sharing appeal works because it connects to reciprocal altruism and shared identity deeply embedded in Indian culture. Carpooling isn't a sacrifice โ it's an extension of the communal values Indians already practice daily.
Our platform gamifies this cultural strength, turning shared rides into measurable impact with points and carbon savings.
Gamification & Behavior Change
โMake it obvious, make it attractive, make it easy, make it satisfying.โ
BJ Fogg's Tiny Habits model and James Clear's Habit Loop show that points, streaks, and badges aren't just fun โ they're powerful behavioral architecture that drives sustained change.
Every eco action on our platform triggers an immediate reward (points), a visible progress marker (streak), and social recognition (leaderboard) โ the three pillars of lasting habit formation.
